From Government to History to Culture, Broadway truly is the Heart of Newport.
This funky part of Newport, called "Sobro" by many locals, is the place to go for eclectic dining and cocktails, live music, used CDs, tattoos, rare comics and the occasional first edition signed by the author.
Broadway runs from Middletown/Newport line in the North End of the City of Newport all the way down to Washington Square, where it ends passing by City Hall (which is a mile from the Middletown/Newport line).
With award winning restaurants, historic architecture, novel shops and friendly residents, it's no wonder Broadway has been the center of Newport's commerce and trade since the 1700's!
